Sweetheart Block - RBD Block Challenge 2022

So each week I say I am excited about this challenge and this week was no exception. The designer this week was Bev of Flamingo Toes - and she definitely set us up for a challenge! 

This is my version of the Block 2 of the RBD Block Challenge for 2022!

It is the Sweetheart Block, which was designed by Beverly McCullough of Flamingo Toes!

For my fabric choice this time, I am using the Notting Hill collection from Amy Smart of @DiaryofaQuilter. I am teaming my blocks with Kona Cotton Lapis from Robert Kaufman

This free quilt block pattern is a fun way to experiment with the fabrics and colours to see how the blocks come together.

The block challenge is running from January 4th until May 17th 2022,  and includes 16 free block patterns in total. Each block pattern will be released on a Tuesday, except for the last Tuesday of the month - where we have a chance to catch up if needed!
