Infinite Hearts Quilt - a fat quarter friendly quilt!

Infinite Hearts - Orange made by Dotty and Grace

The Infinite Hearts Quilt has to be one of my favourite projects from 2021! A pattern with so many options and a great fat quarter project!

Infinite Hearts Quilt Along - my fabric choice!

I participated in the quilt along hosted by the designer Emily Dennis of Quilty LoveThe event was so much fun, seeing all the different variations come to life was amazing! For participants Emily included a progress sheet, that was sew cute, where we could track our blocks - it made it really easy to follow along!

I found the Infinite Hearts Quilt pattern easy to follow and loved the options included in the pattern. There were five different sizes as options: Baby, Throw (small, medium and large) and Twin sizes - I chose to do the twin! The pattern gives options of using pre-cuts, yardage or scraps - which was perfect for using some fat quarters from my stash!

For the fabric, I chose to dive into my stash and cut into my much loved New Dawn collection from Citrus and Mint Designs. The combination of colours that Rachel, the designer, used in the New Dawn fabric collection was perfect for this project! The shades of green, mint, blush, coral, fuschia, pink and cream were the ideal choice for all these hearts!
