Homemade Christmas Decorations - Fabric Scandinavian Christmas Stars

Since I discovered the tutorial for the scandinavian folded fabric star I make more and more each year for Christmas. While there are a number of tutorials for these stars, the tutorial I prefer is by Mathew from Mister Domestic - click here. He has made two tutorials on these stars - I prefer this one.

I also make them in different sizes, Mathew goes through different size options in the tutorial. My favourite size as a Christmas tree decoration is to start with the 4" width fabric pieces. The smaller size can also work well as decorations on gifts.

Here are some of the versions I have made over the years for Christmas. And if you think about it we could search through our stash and change the fabric to use these stars as a decoration for any occasion.
