Chatbot Quilt
When Ali from Arabesque Scissors contacted me with her idea of the Chatbot quilt - I was so excited. It looked like so much fun. Then a moment of realisation hit me - it had curves.
I had not tried curves before. So I was a little apprehensive. But knowing Ali's great patterns, I had to try it.
I need not have been worried, I found the curves much easier than I thought they would be. The templates are easy and Ali has the instructions well laid out in her pattern.
The quilt has big blocks so comes together easily. If you have not tried curves before, give it a go. And this is a fun and modern quilt.
I can highly recommend the Chatbot pattern, as a fun modern quilt lap quilt for that chatterbox in your life or teen that is always texting away. The pattern comes in three sizes; Throw, Baby and Mini Quilt.
As I started this quilt, my bundle of Social fabric, from Ruby Star Society, seemed like the perfect match to be teamed with the modern Chatbot designed quilt. I loved having the chatty chirpy birds and the old rotary phone handset as a contrast! Plus rainbows and ice-creams are always a favourite.

Quilting: Me! Clasp stitch on my Janome M100QDC
Have you tried Clasp Stitch Quilting - my Janome has it as one of the stitch designs - I love the texture it has given the quilt.
For the backing of the Chatbot Quilt, I chose Clementine Sunrise
It’s just superb Janelle! Thank you so much for excellent testing abilities and helping make the pattern so much better. XAli
